Enemy lover is an invitation to stop being overwhelmed by, paradoxically, finding God in the face of those we don’t like at all (or do we?) as we wrestle together with some of life’s biggest challenges and opportunities: conflict.

From the micro of interpersonal dynamics to the macro of civil war, conflict impacts all of us in deep and sometimes devastating ways. What if approaching conflict and other global challenges could be different?

In Spanish, “blessed are the peacemakers” translates literally as “on a good adventure are those who work for peace.

Explore with Anna how the path forward can be one that is live-giving, joy-filled and community-creating, as we show up as recipients of grace, ready to pay attention to the work of God in the world and within us, through peacebuilding practices. It is through embracing our enemies, wrestling with forgiveness, delving into curiosity, and learning some skills to make it a little less scary and possibly even somewhat silly, that our own lives and relationships can be renewed and reimagined.

It won’t be easy, it will be messy, and it could even be delightful.
